This project is a high-end, free-standing structure designed as an extension of the main residence—a modern pavilion or sophisticated outdoor living space. The goal was to create a functional room that offers seamless integration with the surrounding garden.

1. Architectural Concept: Transparency and Connection

The core design principle is transparency, achieved through a focus on two primary materials: steel and glass.

• Minimalist Structure: We utilized a heavy-duty, black-finished steel frame to provide structural support while keeping the visual profile extremely minimal. The sharp, clean lines of the black frame offer a stunning contrast to the lush green environment.
• Floor-to-Ceiling Glass: The walls are constructed almost entirely of large, thermally efficient glass panels. This maximizes the intake of natural light and creates a 100% immersive view of the exterior, making the room feel connected to the outdoors at all times.
• Indoor-Outdoor Flow: The pavilion sits on a low, integrated patio/terrace, minimizing the step-up height. This design choice encourages easy access and blurs the traditional boundary between the interior living space and the garden.

2. Fit-Out Highlights and Functional Design

The interior fit-out was executed to create a warm, comfortable, and versatile space:

• Ceiling Feature: The structure features a warm, recessed wooden ceiling, which adds necessary texture and intimacy to the space. This is crucial for balancing the coolness of the steel and glass.
• Versatile Use: The interior layout is flexible, accommodating both a casual seating area and a more formal dining or meeting area. This versatility allows the room to function as a lounge, an office, a study, or a private entertaining space.
• Foundation and Durability: The structure is built on a solid, prepared base, ensuring its durability and weather-resistance. The robust steel framing provides long-term stability and security.
