Project Overview: Executive Office Fit-Out for Ajman Land Department

DLD Design Line was appointed as the interior fit-out contractor for this project, delivering the executive boardroom, main lobby, and customer service area for an Ajman Land Department facility in Ajman, UAE. The scope covered custom millwork, marble flooring, feature lighting, and branded interior finishes across the three connected spaces shown above.

Executive Boardroom

The boardroom was fitted with a curved boardroom table and paneled walls finished in dark wood veneer, paired with high-back upholstered executive seating and brushed brass accents on the light fixtures and chair bases. Vertical wood paneling runs across the walls for both acoustic benefit and a formal tone, with cove lighting built into the ceiling to follow the curve of the room.

Main Lobby and Customer Service Area

The lobby pairs polished marble flooring with a large curved feature wall in dark wood cladding that incorporates the client’s signage as an architectural feature rather than an applied sign. A curved reception seating area softens the marble-and-wood palette, and a glass-and-metal mezzanine railing keeps the double-height space feeling open.

Customer Service and Reception Area

The reception and service counters continue the same marble flooring used in the lobby for visual consistency, finished with dark laminate and wood counter fronts chosen for durability under daily public use. Frosted glass panels on the high windows bring in natural light while keeping the service area private.

Our Approach

This project followed DLD Design Line’s standard design-and-build fit-out process: custom millwork and joinery for the curved boardroom table and feature walls, large-format marble installation for a seamless finish, and integrated feature lighting to define each zone. Because the space serves the public every day, durability and ease of maintenance were weighed alongside the executive-level finish the brief called for.
